  1. Cyclists Beware. CanDoo in Buenos Aires has 4 dogs. 2 large and 2 small. The large ones usually don’t chase cyclists. A couple mornings ago all 4 were out very early and the 2 smaller dogs fired up the pack and chased me on my bike. I was bitten by the 2 small dogs riding northbound across the street. Be cautious riding by there.
  2. Los Barriles Health Clinic has moved. We are now at Plaza Elena, Suite 5, Calle El Ancón at Marlin, across from the new Oxxo. Same doctor, same on-site lab, more room.   3. It’s with a heavy heart that I let you all know of a longtime ex-pat’s passing. On Sept 4th Elsa McCord passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Ninety years is a long run, & having spent every winter here since 1985 she may have crossed paths with many of you. She spent many years at Martin Verdugos socializing and playing cards with friends. Some of her weekly poker players may remember her as “The Elsa-nator.” RIP Elsa.

    Play It Forward December 5–6 – Helping raise funds and collect toys for The Caring Place in Los Barriles, BCS.
    Heart of Baja January 8–9 – A special tournament where a large portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Caring Place.
    Super Bowl Slam February 12–13 – Pickleball meets Super Bowl season!
    Sunny’s Tournament March 19–21 – This special tournament supports children with Down syndrome and raises funds for The Padrino Foundation Register now
  2. Welcome back to those who love our community. Santa and Mrs Claus wanted to let everyone know a couple of fun dates. On November 15th at Dodo’s Beach Club we will hold our semi-annual No Fuss Garage Sale. All sold items go to help buy Christmas toys for the less fortunate. All unsold items go to DIF.
